Does it really matter where these kids are from any more? Out of state guys that LSU is looking at all play in national tournaments and in games against high level players from all over. All of these kids are playing a ton of games with a ton of available data points.
This is about identifying talent that can be developed it doesn't matter where they are from. With that said you want Louisiana guys who want to play at LSU who can develop.

The old model is dead. It ain't coming back. Players won't be signed to be developed as starters by their 3rd year. The big schools want immediate impact players only. A few of those might be 1st year players and many will be portal guys who another team already developed and are more physically developed when step foot on Lsu soil.
