And this is why it was a mistep by Kelly not to go after a dt or two in the December window. Even if Wingo anf Smith came back, you still needed guys. It was always likely Smith was leaving.

Now he put himself in a position to have to overpay, which we know he won't do(I don't blame him)

I thought Kelly would've had the forethought to tackle dt in the winter portal.
