you were going to use a Paul Mainieri example, how did you not use Nola?

Should have. Didn’t think about him.

And you were just like the majority on this board… I started out making a simple post until someone with your with your low IQ comes along and tries to make it say something I never intended for to say jackass

So we have a guy who has started numerous threads doubting Johnson, who has previously implied Johnson doesn’t develop players, and has previously implied Johnson can only coach hitting.

Said guy starts a thread “just asking” if Johnson has ever recruited & developed a pitcher.

Said guy then tries to limit the discussion solely to incoming freshmen (ignoring, for some reason, obvious development by pitchers who weren’t recruited as freshmen).

..and you expect people to just take it at face value?

Hey man, don’t get mad at me.. I’m just asking.

A quick glance at your post history shows you shouldn't be talking about anyone's IQ.

PM’s best freshmen pitchers were probably Lang Gausman and Nola

Would have to confirm, but Lange may have had the best true Fr season in our history as a starter. Maybe Laxton but it's a small group.

First, I think most of us will agree that Johnson is not coaching pitchers day to day. Second, if we can agree on that, it must be noted that there have been 3 pitching coaches in 3 years. Third, the fact that Johnson’s first 2 pitching coaches were hired as head coaches at Power 5 programs (including 1 SEC program) is proof that at least 2 Athletic Directors believe that pitchers have been developed at LSU.

Would Little’s development count towards his success since he was bad last year?

Obviously not much because you said he started Friday nights. It took about 60 seconds to prove that wrong.

Don’t bite off more than you can chew buddy. I can match education credentials with most on this board. Now maybe you don’t agree with my posts.

All this means is that you should be educated enough not to be such a moron on this board.

And that is exactly what I’m about to do except, I’m not a moron. I’m a sports fan who has followed LSU since the early 70’s. I enjoy talking sports with good folks. I have no idea who I’m talking to on this board which is foolish on my part. I didn’t “revise” a thread to help it suit my purposes. I intends to use the word “freshman” from the beginning. And I admit, I was wrong. A few more. Pitchers have developed than I thought. But I’m done with this. I waste far too much time on it.

If you can spew BS, then so can we. You don't get to make the rules. Have a downvote.

What I meant by the word “flame” is I didn’t want name-calling….just a good conversation about sports. No I don’t care for Johnson but, I had forgotten about Herring & Ackenhausen & Cooper and Guidry. Those are his players.
