Pitching has been carrying this team in the second half of the season. The first half of SEC play our pitching really struggled. That’s what really killed us since pitching was supposed to be our strength. Jay even said this before the season.
We knew we would take a step back at the plate. Hurd and some of our bullpen guys just never made the leap they hoped for.
