Terrible. Just a kid.

Not excusing his crimes, but ask yourself is there a better way to address this? A shame for anyone to lose their life in a non-violent crime, especially a kid.

The only way this kind of stuff gets fixed is if black people take it upon themselves to fix their broken, ghetto fabulous culture, and they have shown less than zero interest in doing that.

frick that. Property crimes should be taken far more seriously in this country. Honest, hard working people bust their asses to be able to afford cars. Their cars are more valuable than a hoodrat's life when said hoodrat tries to steal that car. If someone gets shot to death stealing a car, oh well. They deserve it, even if they're 12. If someone is already stealing cars at 12, they will never make a positive contribution to society.

again,

some posters are assuming this young man is a dangerous animal; you’re just as foolish, assuming he’s an innocent kid caught up in an freak incident.

it’s likely somewhere in between and not by accident he was there when he was.

Yes, there is a better way. And it starts with parents not letting a 12yo run wild in the streets.

He got what he deserved. He is old enough to know better.

in that situation at 12 the odds were greatly stacked against him and maybe this will wake some responsibility in parents

How much cash do you currently have in your wallet? Because that's exactly what YOUR life is worth to someone like this.

It doesn't matter if someone disagrees with that or not; it is the truth.

There is nothing "non-violent" about this type of crime. They are looking for cash, drugs, and the grand prize- guns. And you can bet your life they don't value your life enough to avoid taking it, if they can.

I'm reminded of a saying old military guys would say that went something to the effect of "a bullet kills you the all the same whether a 13 or a 30 year old pulls the trigger."

Of course a kid shot dead before even becoming a teenager is sad but his being young doesn't omit him from the consequences of committing felonies against people.

Personally, I find it disgusting the "grown" people around him that refused to be adults and raise him and millions more like him that put them on a path to destruction.
