I believe the green sky thing. When our house got hit back in like 1990 in Shenedoah, the one thing I remember was the sky was a shade of green. Have no desire to live through another tornado in this lifetime.

Lafayette is under a tornado watch but not BR.

Mid city seems to have avoided the worst of it. We had a couple of big gusts and sideways rain but nothing butthole-puckering. Skies were green and tons of lightning and thunder though

Freaky how my house near Shenandoah went from crazy wind to nothing at the snap of a finger.

I am convinced a tornado went through Shenandoah or near my home. My sunroom is a poorly constructed aluminum addition. It's practically trailer-esque. (The old owner did it.) It was shaking, and the windows sounded like they were about to break. At one point, you could feel the wind in the sunroom. If we have a hurricane this year, I don't think it will survive after this. The good thing is good old Demco never failed.
I haven't been this scared since I was a kid and rode out a hurricane for the first time.

Went from being black in Hickory Ridge to a bright end of the day almost.
Hopefully the worst is past but I doubt it.
Baby has the flu and would care not to have a power outage

Starting to calm down in Prairieville but holy shite, being out in this was wild and I’m not too big to admit a little scary

Downtown Oak Grove here. It got funky for a few.

Just looked on radar scope and it shows a tornado likely in that area.

Near Shenandoah, constant thunder and lightning, wind has down died considerably, green skies.

Just hitting north Walker. Really ugly. Lightning everywhere. Pounding rain.

Feels like winds already died down in St George

I just had to drive home to Pville in that shite. By far the worst weather I’ve ever driven through.

Good. The 4 year old thinks he can sleep in our bed tonight cuz of the weather. Need it to calm all the way down so I can put him in his bed.
