Laffy airport recorded a 78mph gust twice separated by 4 minutes.

74mph gust at the Acadiana airport.

KLFT is about 15 miles NW of KARA.

Looks like the strongest winds passed between the two airports but a little closer to KLFT.

20,050 calcasieu power outages now
There a very large feeder line that heads back to Youngsville behind my house and I saw it arc off in two spots like a dam mini nuke going off. Imagine somewhere in south Laffy is with out power.

A window in my kitchen definitely needs caulk job now
