There’s a perfectly rational explanation. Suburban Dallas is the most soulless, least interesting place in North America. It’s the type of region where people go out to Buffalo Wild Wings and Dave and busters for their recreational activities. I remember watching the Dr Death podcast, and the Duntsch guy it was about had a ton of money and would go blow it at the bar at the ‘upscale’ Holiday Inn in Plano. That’s basically suburban DFW in a nutshell.
