Let's not forget when their is a pass ball that bounces off the catcher then goes almost in the 3rd base dugout and Travenski is trotting back to 3rd when it was a easy score. Little things like that happened all year long. That is a total team and coach problem
. Next year I hope CJJ knows the SEC is not the PAC 12. Little things like that in the SEC will cost you games

A healthy Chase Shores would have done wonders this year as far as rotation. But that can’t be helped

At what point does Yeskie get some of the blame for the pitching problems? JJ calked him the best pitching coach in the country, how long does he need to make a difference. Hopefully he can recruit.

Dumb take. Part the reason? Absolutely. Sole reason? Absolutely not.

It’s hard to say because we only have a handful of pitchers from last year.

little has pitched better
Herring has pitched better
Dutton has pitched better

But how do you evaluate his effect on Jump? Hes gotten better as the season goes.

Not saying I think he's done an A+ job or that I agree with the way he calls a game all the time, but you do realize our team ERA is lower than it was last year. I think a bigger problem this year has been our lack of timely hitting.

It never bodes well when you lose 13 players to the draft/grad the previous season.
Other than Jones, you could correctly assert NO player who was in position to get more PT and contribute took advantage of that opportunity. Pearson, Kling, Neal, and Travinski among other position players, and a host of pitchers (returners & transfers) were literally 'wildly' inconsistent and/or not dependable to throw strikes and get outs. A recipe for a down season, especially in the uber-competitive SEC.
