Everyone knows that you when you get the lead off guy on, you bunt him over and put him in SCORING POSITION.

This one is on Jay Johnson. Absolute piss poor job coaching today.

Playing for 1 run by bunting a guy to 2nd base in the top half of an inning where you’re down 1 is far from standard. You still need a hit to score him. I’d be much more critical of the decision not to bunt if we could have set up man on 3rd with 1 out.
