Assuming this is true, people warned about this a long time ago during the Obama years.

There are some people out there like Ted Postol doing analysis and claiming Israel's air defense is not nearly as robust as claimed. If true, Iran could overwhelm it with drones and generic missiles and then lob some nukes in there with an exceedingly high probability of getting through. In that small strike recently several got through.

Is this the first feasible 'first strike' scenario in the nuclear era that could decapitate the other nation and prevent it from being able to respond with nukes? Israel is pretty small. It's like going from San Diego to Bakersfield. Takes a few hours to drive across the length of Israel, while it takes a few days to drive across the US. If that is the new calculus, then it would seem guaranteed that Israel will attempt its own decapitation strike on Iran to prevent this.

How long before Lindsey says the US should preemptively nuke Iran?

Israel would be the country bring the world to the brink of nuclear war. While the mouth breathers cheer them on.

Been longer than that. I suspect we're just going to park a bunch of AEGIS boats in the Persian Gulf for years until the problem gets "solved" somehow. And to the idiots that are sure to respond, if we didn't release billions of $ to Iran, we wouldn't have to put as many destroyers and cruisers on patrol to stop this (never mind the amount of munitions we've blown near Yemen, which was preventable.)

Can we just stop giving Iran money? Let's start there.
