Need to stay out of it completely. Whether Israel wins or Gaza wins... we shouldn't stick our nose in. Our involvement has led to the perpetual state of conflict regarding Israel and Gaza. Without us, an outcome would've been decided long ago. With either Israel getting an absolute victory or the Palestinians getting an absolute victory..

I actually agree with you. I should have said Israel instead of we, and the four countries I have in mind sharing the responsibility of are Israel, Egypt, Jordan, and UAE, not the US.

Yep.

Just like Ukraine all of this is a huge risk to get dragged into a broader conflict.

We've tried appeasing both sides, both sides cant stand us now.

White House considers welcoming some Palestinians from war-torn Gaza as refugees
The Biden administration is considering bringing certain Palestinians fleeing war-torn Gaza to the U.S. as refugees, according to internal federal government documents obtained by CBS News.

Ok, let's be consistent. We didn't let in most Jews fleeing the Nazis in WWII, but we're tabling hundreds of thousands of visas for people that voted for Hamas? The people in Dresden probably didn't deserve to suffocated or be burned alive, but elections have consequences, right?

What you miss is that selling arms to one (IL) is pretty neutral. Sending hundreds of millions of aid to "civillians" and billions to Iran actively prolongs warfare, to a side that just wants to kill Jews. You paid much attention to Yemen much? How do we just not stick our noses in it, when so much shipping relies on freedom of movement through the gulf of Aden?

Oh, right, you don't care, you want to blather on about whatever you and the other plant baws talked about last night. Al Qaeda (name a version) gets absolute victory, you don't care, we should stay out of it. Nice fantasy world you live in there.

I don't want Americans being put at risk for no good reason, but lending money for Iron Dome, etc, while shipping billions to Ukraine for

quote:

The administration requested $1 billion for global infrastructure projects to outcompete China. While a laudable goal, this should not be depicted as money to assist Ukraine. The same holds true for the $1.25 billion in support requested for the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, which would “provide financing to help countries . . . breaking reliance on the People’s Republic of China (PRC).” An additional $200 million is requested to establish the Countering Russian Malign Actors in Africa Fund to be deployed by USAID to counter the Vagner Group and other related entities. While weakening Russian actors in Africa could arguably have a detrimental impact on Russian capabilities in Ukraine, the connection to Ukraine is loose, at best. If these three accounts are deducted from the overall $24 billion requested, the funds dedicated in support of Ukraine are closer to $21.5 billion.

We send billions to close to 200 countries around the world, including for progressive initiatives (not military or strictly humanitarian.) Israel is not your problem, the UN and every country relying on us as a bank to fund their birth control initiatives, voting rights initiatives, etc., are.

Besides, I prefer fuel air explosives more than nukes.
