Dutton being a starter on Sundays throwing sausages up there by the second inning is just the Tip of the Tail of this season.
Man how the mighty have fallen.

Crazy how Hurd started off the season as our Friday starter and now he can hardly even pitch an inning in a midweek game. That hurt this team pretty bad.

The players are ready for the end of the season. You can tell they've quit.

Brady Neal certainly makes it worse it seems. There is a noticeable difference in our pitching when he's catching vs. Milazzo.

Agree 100%!

By the way. Have we even won a Sunday game this season?

Dutton should be on a Ranch somewhere with his family before being a weekend starter at LSU

This team is donezo.

Gonna need to hit the portal hard if we want any chance being good next season.

By hard I mean +10 players who can come in day 1 and make a difference. This team today is just pitiful and the coaching decisions are even worse. Pearson leadoff? Guy has one hit all weekend. Dutton then moffit on the mound? You are gifting Bama the win. It’s dogshit is what it is.

I remember when Dutton was starting games Jay’s first year, everyone used it as a reason to blame CPM for leaving him with no pitching. Two years later and we are still here

It’s really a shame.
Poor Jay couldn’t even muster a half assed decent season(respectable) and enjoy the Championship.
Went from Top to Bottom in a year.
No Bueno as we say here in Tejas.

Right? Because we have so many established, quality, proven arms that we could be using instead of them.

Oh wait...

Yeah I remember those pre season position forecasts…whiff. I don’t think a single one of those has turned out correct

Pearson leadoff

You don't see many SEC teams with a guy hitting .240 at leadoff. Larson makes more sense. Even Braswell.

And we have so many pitchers with stuff who could have been studs but haven’t. Hurd, Coleman, Moffett, Kade Wood, Cam Johnson. Little is the only guy who stepped up out of all those big arms that could have developed.

So am I.

Let’s get to football. Reset, try again next year.

Hurd

Hurd is who he’s always been. Late last season was an extreme outlier.
