I’d be curious to hear Jay’s explanation for the extreme lack of depth in the pitching staff. We were all unsure, but he sold us on it preseason.

Yeah I mean having to start Dutton on a Sunday just shows how bad of shape your staff is in. Sundays aren't even competitive in SEC play.

What’s crazy is as bad as this team is that choke job on Friday is probably gonna be the difference between making and miss the postseason

I don’t think a detailed explanation is needed. Some guys didn’t get better enough, some guys are inconsistent, some guys just aren’t capable of being better.
It is what it is. Try to do better next season.
