I read about guys having hobbies but as a middle aged married guy with kids I find myself not having time for hobbies at the end of the day. Those with kids what kind of hobbies do you have and how do you find time for them? Working all week and then family stuff on the weekends I’m not seeing much time available for them.

Watching sports, playing tennis, sometimes golf.

It’s tough, but just make a plan, put it on the calendar and do it. It’s important for you to have YOU time and momma too

Kayaking calm lakes

Leave early in the morning before sunrise on the weekends and return before activities start up.

Yup. I’m a sports watcher on TV these days. But when I can get a nice morning boat ride to a great fishing spot…. It’s all good.

Scale models. Currently working on this as I type this…

What I love about it is how I can go into my model office, sit down at my desk, turn on my Bluetooth speaker to listen to music or podcast (currently listening to The Unauthorized History of the Pacific War Podcast) and totally unplug from the world.

You can’t pour from an empty cup, baw. Gotta squeeze a little time for yourself.

I’ve gotten really into country dancing since my last relationship ended, Two-step, one-step, and country swing.

It’s a lot of fun, and dance lessons are a great way to meet people.

Beware of the dancehall regulars though. Whooole lot of drama with that crowd.

Running. Mountain biking. I go with my son. I've been fishing less though.

right now, it is glass etching, drawing and may start trying my hand at painting.

Married with three young kids. Having a cold beer in the shower is about as exciting of a hobby I can have these days

I think the OT is smart enough to figure out your hobby...

A woman with 11 children makes a guest appearance as a contestant on Groucho Marx's quiz show “You Bet Your Life”. The following dialogue takes place.

Woman: "I have 11 children, Groucho."

Groucho: "You have 11 children? Why do you have so many kids?"

Woman: "Because I love my husband."

Groucho: "I love my cigar, too, but I take it out every once in a while."
