It’s tough for me too. I like the quiet of the course. Similar to the beach, I’d rather hear the waves than music.

I feel similar. I usually listen to music when I am doing something monotonous; driving, menial work, cutting the grass. Golf is already my favorite thing to do. I don't need to add something to it to make it more enjoyable.

Also, getting into my late 30s, I see my good friends less and less each year. When we are together on the golf course, I'd rather be fully into the round and the conversation.

I never mind when someone I am with plays music, but, if I had to make a choice, I'd rather have no music.

I love the quiet round alone. It gives me time to think and appreciate being out there. I also like the rounds when my buddies and I play music. I also do not like it loud though. Some of my favorite times on the course are when my daughters are riding with me and we listen to music and they are dancing in the fairways. Bring on the old men that will complain about that.
