So far the only complaints you’ve really levied is that the movie was different than what you expected.

They didn’t swing and miss on what they were trying to do, they just weren’t trying to do what you clearly really wanted them to do.

On very much the contrary, the movie would’ve been awful had they tried to go just straightforward “what if the civil war happened forreals” and created some cartoonish bad guys for the audience to root against. That’s not what the point of the movie is at all
