I usually love Spring/Summer, BUT

For the first time (probably in my lifetime) I am just ready to bypass it all... get to football season and get this stupid fricking election over and done with.
Maybe it's just me, but I am just so sick and tired of 2024 - I have never wanted a year to just end and start fresh with a new year before in my life.
As much as I love baseball season and spring and summer - I am just ready to fast-forward through it this year and just get to football season.
I have never thought about wanting to hurry time up because life is short and precious - but, 2024, I have no problem with wanting to get the frick out of this year.
This country is such a mess. At least when Biden wins again (because of all of the cheating) I will have closure and will just accept the fact there is nothing I can do about it, but the build up to the election is just going to be fricking brutal for the next 6 or so months.

The past 4 years have been miserable. I can’t even enjoy Christmas like I usually do knowing they stole the election from Trump. Everything just feels so hollow.

Wife and I have been in Portugal for the past few days. Still love America but holy hell, our country sucks.
This place is safe, vibrant, people everywhere enjoying life. Only ones I’ve seen on their phones were Americans.
We need to kill social media and get back to living.

America is very money and business oriented. I almost see America as one big business. This is why so many people come here for money opportunities and retire in places like Portugal for a slower pace.

What's happening with the election this Spring/Summer is nothing. The fall won't be really fun until a week before the election. The Dems already know what they will do. But they can't do it now because it will be determined fake.
