Yesterday was so important. We had it in our grasp even without winning game 3. This season we’ve had so many games like this. A bunch of small details and we lose because of it.

I agree. Yesterday was a microcosm of the entire season. This team either can’t or won’t take the next step and continue to be the inconsistent team they’ve been all year.

Sure, but we are probably more likely to get swept than to win the next two. No Herring, no little. You need 7 strong from Holman, with the bats showing up big to even have a chance tomorrow. Or we need a win today and to get a heroic performance Sunday from somebody who hasn't been great all year.

And 13 wins shouldn’t be enough! Is this where we are as a program, now? I hope CJJ gets this thing turned around, but I’m seriously questioning player development at this point. We’ll see what happens next year.

LSU will certainly get in at 13-17 if they take 2/3 from Alabama and Ole Miss. But last night threw a wrench in that scenario considering LSU’s Sunday struggles.

I said this after last weekend and everybody downvoted me. Anything short of going undefeated from this point ensures no NCAA tournament bid, hell they may still not make the damn SEC tournament.
