Have they started on it yet? Because I drove by there a couple weeks ago on my way to Destin and didn’t even notice it.

Yes, they are working on the site but no sign of a building rising from the dirt yet, from what I can see.

We appreciate you for it. When they build one in Louisiana expect the end of the world.

The one in Ruston will be greatest day in the history of the state when it opens. North Louisiana > south Louisiana

I've been to one Buccees. I'm never going back. I've fueled up across the street from a Buccees many times since. No crowd, no hikes, and no temptation to buy shite that I don't need.

So, pushed back a month. Whoop

A month? Try a year. They had anticipated the opening to be October of this year

Eat one of their fresh pulled pork sandwiches and you will change your tune.

Clean bathrooms, good food, staff that actually cares about their jobs. No matter how many people are there, everyone has a smile on their face.

It’s like if Chick-Fil-A ran a gas station.

Originally said spring 2025. Then said maybe November 2024, now back to 2025.

I could tell November 2024 was no chance. While they have moved a lot of dirt on site and a lot of subsurface work, they have a LONG way to go.

Since I don’t really like either I’m good without supersizing my fuel and bathroom stop.

More like Wal Mart and truck stop had a baby, which was adopted and raised by Chik-fil-A. In Texas.

Perfect description. LOL

We’ve gotten to where we mostly skip the stop there on way to beach, but when we stop it’s hard to argue with it having something that makes the family happy.
My kids love all the icee flavors.
My wife likes the coffees and flavorings, etc.
I like a brisket sandwich.
We all like the clean restrooms and quick check outs.
