You don't feel like we are headed in the wrong direction as a program? Sure, there is nowhere to go after winning it all, but I didn't expect to fall off the cliff, with next year looking even worse. He deserves the benefit of the doubt, for sure, but I've seen this show before.

My only concern with CJJ is his team (at least this year) plays tight. They don’t just play baseball and execute. They seem to be on edge and as a result don’t execute to the level of what their talent would indicate.
Kling didn’t progress, Milazzo got worse defensively, Braswell either got worse or was a misjudge. Pearson seemed to get worse. Neal got worse defensively . On the other hand Jones got better, white improved defensively, Milam had a rookie slump then rebounded nicely.
He spoke of his catchers glowingly. Either they all regressed or he didn’t judge correctly. He spoke of pitching glowingly but again a misjudge or they got worse.
To me and others can have a different opinion, there is no put the players in position and let them play mentality. Everything is mechanical and tight.
Bunting is an example. Hard to understand why almost none can execute a bunt.
I think he is smart dedicated and strategic coach. But at some point they have to play and have fun. Even when they win they don’t seem to have fun.

Yea I mean it’s one thing to have a down year after a natty but they are literally the last team in just to make the damn SEC tourney. The 12th best team in the SEC when they were projected to win the West. That’s absolutely inexcusable
