It’s a letter of law vs intent of law situation there and can go either way…..if you watch a lot of baseball you’ve seen that not called more than it’s called most likely.

Now somebody said earlier he was on the infield grass at one point which makes it a more egregious no call…..but based on that still shot even though by letter of law it could be called it should surprise no one that it’s not.

Nobody is calling interference on a runner when the fielder is more than halfway to the mound


The fans calling for this would jump off a bridge if this was called against us

See how close his right foot is there, his left was in the grass prior.

That being said I immediately said there is no way Birmingham, ALABAMA is going to overturn that call.
