the foul line and a line that is 3 feet to the foul side of that line.
also commonly known as the "running lane"

the runner is clearly 100% INSIDE the foul line.

I don't know why the line on the foul territory side is not marked on Alabama's field, but that 3 foot distance still exists without that line being marked.

the runner is not allowed to step with either foot outside of either of those lines.
