Not even close to interference. Had time to set his feet and make the throw.

Not sure you understand interference

It doesn’t help your cause when the ball is thrown damn near in the dugout from the mound

It was a fricking terrible play by the catcher. Nothing to do with interference.

fricking hell

It’s interference. You have to run between the two white lines to 1b. Probably didn’t deserve to win though.

Clearly interference. Even worse than what Florida got called for in the finals last year. Really surprised that wasn’t overturned

Probably because he threw it from damn near the pitchers mound

Once again. Not a prerequisite for interference.

The catcher throwing a piss poor throw to first. Runner is allowed to run a straight line.
Not inside the base line. Not 1 fricking inch.
Still on millazo but that was totally runner's interference by rule and definition

Problem is you walk a batter then hit one. Free bases. Let them hit it and and let defense work

Well it was a judgement call that could have went either way…..if the throw would have been on line and it hit the runner as he was running into Jones it may have been called….with such a piss poor throw it’s easier to not call interference.

Even if he had interfered, you think Birmingham was going to call it?

The runner was running directly on the baseline the entire time and never deviated from it. The terrible throw inside that makes jones have to throw his body right into the runner doesn’t make it interrence on the runner

Yes he did. Started in the middle of the path, reached first base with his right foot on the foul line.

There’s interference and then there’s interference. He didn’t impede the throw. fricking Milazzo almost hit him with the ball regardless if he was inside the line or not. It was a shitty throw by OUR catcher. Not interference by the baserunner.

The review was so quick. No way you look at that review and not call interference, dude was a foot inside the line
