There were no moves he could have made tonight that were going to work.

Our best pitchers failed us.

I know this board is obsessed with blaming the coach, but that’s the definition of players choking.

frick em. Cheeks when they had to make a play. Pathetic. 2 outs nobody on and you gift them the game. Team doesn’t deserve the postseason. The god damn catcher is responsible for 3 runs.

Explain to us how it’s on a coach when the opponents score 2 runs without getting a ball out of the infield.

Incorrect. The second Herring recorded the second out, it was his game to win or lose. He also made the pitch he needed to make in the end. The defensive safety net catcher fricked it up.

When the players consistently choke, that is a reflection of the coach. We're talking about routine plays they've failed to make all season.

This isn’t Dixie Youth. Your 5th year senior catcher throwing a dinker into the RF bleachers isn’t a coaching issue.
