I worked with a guy from Uzbekistan he said he used to hold hands with his bros all the time. He didn’t even know what gay people looked like till he came to the US.

I was in Italy when a big man wearing a colorful shirt and scarf walks in a store while I was talking business with the owner and a salesman. He hugged and kissed the business owner and a salesman on the cheek. He then took a step towards me and then stepped back real quick. Guess from the look on my face he could tell I wasn't having it.
Salesman chuckled and pointed at me and said he's American. The guy stuck out his hand and I shook it.

The gayest thing I do is when I see a buddy I haven't seen in a long time I give them a hug...and I pick them up like a child when i do it.

I am in India now. Weirdly common. Two, non gay guy friends, holding hands, while one of the wives follows behind. Yet, it is considered taboo for my husband to hold my hand.
