With two outs and ahead 7 to 6 with no one on and with a 3 to 2 count, you have to challenge the batter right over the plate. You can’t walk him. That was the moment to win the game. He gets a home run, it’s tied 7 to 7 with two outs and no one on. It was the moment to be aggressive.

Ok Smartass, you agree after Herring loads the bases to keep him in??? No you take him out and put your chances on someone that isn’t fricking wild!! A walk, then a hit to load the bases, let me guess you’re ok leaving him in? No you make a change!

Yeah, Herring sucked in the 9th yet keeps flapping his lips.

What if Milazzo always struggled throwing to first but Tre Morgan made it look more fluid

He literally was in the grass when Milazzo got the ball.

Fielding the ball he is maybe 8 inches off the line. In no world would tbks ever be called. Ever. The runners position has no effect on the throw

I assume it’s the edge of the dirt then at Alabama. I stand corrected.

Did Herring call for 40 sliders in a row? That’s how the bases got loaded.

Oh for fricks sake no we’re blaming the pitch calling.

You’re a college pitcher and a great one at that. Execute the fricking pitches.

Yes, and Milazzo had clear vision of first base and then tried to throw it into the dugout. This has to be one of the worst road losses I can recall when LSU has a decent lead into the 9th.

LSU let them hang around all game and it ended up costing them in devastating fashion.

Will be interesting to see how they respond tomorrow.

Herring threw 2 strikes with his fastball all night long, and they were both to the second batter of the 9th inning.

He had zero control of his fastball and that’s why every important pitch had to be the slider.

That’s not true. We were called out on a similar play last year.

He still should have been out of the inning.

We still should have won the game.

We lost because a defensive specialist allowed 4 runs on wild pitches and a throwing error.

Yes, we should have pulled it off by the narrowest of margin.

He’s far more than “barely off the line”.

It is painted on the field. Look to the right of the dirt.
