Recommend me a sprayer for roundup?

I see people buying electric ones. I heard flowzone was good. Not sure if you're looking in that price range.

Just buy a cheap one and throw it when you have problems.

Roundup is sold with an electric sprayer that does both a wide spray and heavy spray. I have the feature on my Orkin Home Defense and it's perfect. You're wasting money buying a sprayer for just that small of an area.

They have a good warranty. If you have an issue you can call them up, give them the date of purchase, and they will send you the part you need.

I have a Solo 4 gallon backpack sprayer. It’s alright. I use it to spray fertilizer, herbicides, and this stuff that dyes the pine straw. It has a lot of different spray tips but I’ve primarily kept the wide spray tip on, the red tipped one I believe, because I’m usually spraying my entire yard with it. My Solo said American made and the brand next to it said Made In China so that was an easy choice to decide which one I wanted. Naturally I’d rather buy something that put money in American workers pockets.

I had a small cheap Home Depot $10 special and it did okay. Sprayed stuff on the flowerbeds and shrubs. It did the job but something broke on it after a few years. For $10 or whatever I paid for it no complaints.

When my cheap one broke I ran down the road to this little Ace Hardware. I wanted to get a 2 gallon instead of 1 gallon this go around and I grabbed one that says Ortho on it. Really didn’t give it much thought. Looked alright on the box so I bought it. I think I paid about $35 for it which is pretty reasonable. I’ve been pleasantly surprised how good it truly is. I have no earthy idea who manufactured it for Ortho, but it’s great for the price. It came with a lot of different spray tips options you can swap in and out, but it has an adjustable copper or metal spray tip that was attached at the factory that does everything I need. I did keep those spray tips in an envelope because I suppose I might could need a certain spray pattern one day. It has a button you push in to decompress it which is nice when you want to open the top and it’s pumped up. No it’s not a professional grade, but I don’t need an expensive one to spray some neem oil and what not on my bushes. I will say there is a drastic difference in the $10 one vs the $35 one.

If I did yard maintenance for a living I’d buy those expensive ones to hold up to the rigors of daily use, but that’s not what you are describing what you need so I’d buy something a little better than the cheapest one at Home Depot if I were you. I have a feeling this Ortho one will last a long time. The cheaper one did not spray as long. The $35 one when you pump it up sprays much longer and the seal or gasket is tighter.
