I had yankee professors that would chop up Boudreaux and Thibodeaux in their pronunciations. She was out of this world.

Me too and I also had southern drill sergeants who were stumped when confronted with Czerwicki, Stantikowski, Diefendorfer, Zanzarella, etc. They were uniformly referred to as “ALPHABET”! In a rather loud tone of voice.
