Police are entirely funded by sales or property taxes. ZERO revenue from citations issued or sale or seized property goes to the police department. Those funds go straight into the highway fund.

DOTD’s operational budget is moved out of the highway fund and must be funded by the general fund. Money in the highway fund is for building infrastructure, not paying admin salaries and pensions.

No one is allowed to pass the 4th grade unless they can read at a 4th grade level, zero exceptions.

Some others:

no state or local government form can contain any question relating to race, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation.

Eliminate the line item veto.

En-mass redistribution of at least half of state highways to local governments to operate and maintain.

Elimination of the inventory tax/inventory tax credit system.

Change the rules regarding how police officers are required to document traffic collisions in order to drastically reduce the amount of time each accident takes to clear the scene.

Dropped criminal charges or a not guilty verdict trigger the immediate release of all seized property to an individual accused of a crime.

Public defenders offices and district attorneys offices are to be funded from the same fund, splitting the money down the middle.

Abolition of the state income tax.

Abolition of inspection stickers for vehicles as well as restrictions on window tint.

Raise the minimum bail which can be set for the following crimes: attempted rape, aggravated rape, first degree murder, second degree murder, aggravated assault, carjacking, kidnapping, burglary, armed robbery, felony theft, etc. Judges shouldn’t be able to issue no-cash bail for violent crimes anymore.

Change the threshold for ballot initiatives like recalls and incorporation efforts from 1/3 signatures to 1/10 signatures of registered voters. This would include recalling U.S. Senators.

No more mail in ballots. Must vote in-person with an ID at early voting or on election day.

Constitutional carry, yes, that includes convicted felons after they’ve completed their parole.

Outlawing “gun free zones” in locations which do not actually check for guns or have controlled access.

Bring back corporal punishment in schools while giving schools full immunity from lawsuits stemming from disciplinary measures which do not result in death or permanent dismemberment. Schools are also allowed to segregate by ability, have college vs trade curriculums, and can kick students out who are repeated safety risks to other students.

Legalize dueling while creating official sanctioned venues and rules for it. Let the drug dealers settle their disputes there without them having to disclose why and keep civilian casualties to a minimum.

Legalization of marijuana. Might also consider legalizing other substances as well, but we have to start there.

Lower drinking and smoking ages back to 18.

Greatly reduce the amount of permits one needs to build a structure or open a business by centralizing and simplifying the process.

Greatly reduce the process for environmental impact studies for highway and bridge projects. The main considerations should be drainage and flooding. Everything else, especially endangered darter snails, can pound sand.

Reduce the number and frequency of elections. All elections must sync with the federal ones. You get a primary in October and a runoff in November every two years. The only exception is the presidential primary every 4 years. Those are the only election dates. No more sneaky millage renewals in the middle of April.

All laws concerning the legalization or banning of abortion, gambling, alcohol, and drugs require votes of the people.
