If tweet fails to load, click here. This guy is unbelievable. Yesterday he wouldn't allow Stormy to be cross examined about all the times she said the affair didn't happen. Today he won't allow testimony saying Trump was upset for his family's sake.

Was it a hearsay objection? If so, you could just ask if Trump told him why it made him upset.

On its face it's a good objection and ruling. That witness cannot tell you what was in Trump's mind without laying the proper foundation.
"He was upset."
Question: How do you know he was upset.
Answer: He told me.
Question: Did he tell you why he was upset?
Answer: Yes.
Quesiton: What did he tell you?
Answer: He told me that he was concerned that his family would see the story.
That's the foundation that was missing. Otherwise, it is just a witness speculating as to what was in Trump's mind.
