Without question - if the Dems gain a single vote majority in the mid-terms of second Trump administration, the SECOND they can bring that to a vote, they will impeach him (third time is the charm, right?) and send it to the Senate with the quickness.

The Republicans should do it if only to show how silly it is. Over and over until the Dems say, "Okay. It was dumb when we did it. We get it. Let's move on." And then do it one more time for emphasis.

Though as a few posters mentioned that this is NOT going anywhere, the symbolism of any American Reps wanting to impeach Biden for "withholding aid to Israel" (of ALL things) sez a lot about Congress and their mockery of us.

"But they did it too" is not exactly persuasive.
Neither were the claims made against Trump. The President actually should have final say in foreign policy.

It’s so bad when my first thought is

“I’d rather them be doing this than actually passing legislation. Every time they pass legislation we get fricked.”

Articles of Impeachment filed against Quid Pro Joe in the House for the threats of witholding of approved aid to Israel.

But not for taking bribes from foreign countries for access to him. And not for allowing millions of illegals to come into the country. And not for weaponizing the justice department.

But for threatening to withhold aid to a FOREIGN COUNTRY. Lmfao I wonder who really runs this country…. Such a mystery.

The same Florida Rep Cory Mills who voted against providing aid to Israel a few weeks ago?

Back to reality …..Schumer is thinking about resurrecting the dead border bill.

Schumer may rethink that. Even his Miami fan club doesn’t want more from south of the border.

Dog and pony show. Theater.

Booger flinging is fun and all, but in the meantime they get nothing else accomplished.

It's bad policy if it ever really takes hold. The President should have flexibility in this matter whether you agree with him or not. This should not be a game of tit for tat.

They want to take away the soundbite impeached former president. That's why they want to play it this way. That way Biden will also be an impeached president.

Also Biden has a list of shite a mile long that warrants impeachment hearings at the minimum

I did not read the bill but congress authorized the money- the president - unless specifically identified with authority in the bill, does not have the power to withhold.

And? This lame attempt is just as stupid and meritless as the Ukraine impeachment.

It’s all nonsense.

And he does. What is your point?

Should we want Congress to waste time and resources on total bullshite theater just because someone else did it? Because I don’t buy that.

are we really going to start impeaching people over what is a policy decision indisputably within the powers of the POTUS?

We already did that with the threat of withholding aid to Ukraine.

This is just goose and gander type stuff.

Got it. So more theater just because.

Man, we’ll really show them with this one. I’m sure millions of people will be persuaded by this tactic.

How do you feel about all the hunter Biden stuff and money flowing to Joe??

Is that not worthy of impeachment?

Show me the goods. If there’s irrefutable evidence of corruption, of course I support impeachment and removal on that.

To this point, I haven’t seen the goods. What’s been put forth publicly isn’t enough, because it won’t result in even a scant chance of removal. I oppose political theater, so an impeachment without even a minuscule chance of having evidence supporting a conviction is a no go IMO.
