Under a new bill being proposed by Sen Marsha Blackburn will have pro-Hamas protesters placed on the No-Fly list and student visas revoked.

Yea, this falls squarely into the "this will totally not backfire spectacularly and eventually be used on people that you happen to agree with" category of government overreach.

I fully support the revoking visas part. Foreigners shouldn't be allowed to come here and protest our country.

I like the idea, but it flies directly against the First Amendment. Besides, there's already laws which can be pursued:
Iran is considered to be an enemy of the US. Iran funds Hamas to the point where they are Iran's proxy in all but formal name, therefore supporting Hamas is to support Iran. Those supporting Hamas are therefore guilty of Treason while those encouraging them are guilty of Sedition.
I wouldn't mind the penalty for Sedition be elevated to add the potential for the death penalty (as there is with Treason).
Just like with the border issue, extra laws aren't going to do shite about frick when current laws (ones which already cover the issue) are purposely not being enforced.

If they are just protesting, no. If they are threatening people, occupying buildings, breaking the law, then yes.

umm frick no cause when dems win again they will start classifying anyone at a maga rally as terrorist and putting them on this list
never ever ever ever give the government more power. they need less not more
plus, unless they are occupying something, they have the freedom to assemble to free speech under the constitution.
we both agree they are pieces of shite....but man never give the government power while you are in charge thinking the other side wont use that against you when they are back in power. frick all that.
