I've noticed they're still running the same specials they did at New Year's Eve.... in May.

I don't know why they're making a stand with leftists. It's not like those ugly, fat fricks work out

PF is for fatties who sit on some machine once a week not breaking a sweat and then go eat fast food afterwards.

I quit PF after some dork tried to make me wear a mask on a treadmill during the Covid panic. F*ck that place

Not raising prices in 26 years is moronic. You can watch some good youtube videos on basically how that company is a pyramid scheme.

Have you ever been to a planet fitness? I don't think 50% of the people in there really workout.

I've gone once while on a business trip years ago and swore I'd never go back.

My PF had a revolt last June. They sent a box of gay pride shirts for the employees to wear and everyone of them refused and threanted to quit. The franchise owner backed down.

Don't they have "pizza Fridays" too?

I heard an ad this morning saying they’ve lowered their fee from $12.99 to $10 per month.

Yup, the business model is create a membership that is so cheap ($10) and do random arse things, that even if someone wants to cancel, them driving up to cancel or the thought "Well if I work out once or twice a month, its worth it" pursuades them not to.

I'd imagine only 50% of people with memberships go more than once a month.

Its a clownshow of a gym

They serve pizza, coke, and krispy kreme donuts

Their business model is for people to get a membership and because it is so cheap rarely workout or just forget about it all together and keep getting charged monthly for it.

Nobody who works out goes to Planet Fitness. They have a pizza day on Fridays for God's sake.

Simple …. they badly missed revenue targets, due to declining customer/subscribers …. and now they intend to remedy it by raising prices on the remaining subs to make up the shortfall.

And they fail to acknowledge WHY the decline occurred.

Most sensible people understand this cause & effect

Planet Fitness will be bankrupt within 3 years.

It has nothing to do with the economy and the price of everything going up. It's the 0.5% of customers who left because of wokeness.

Someone got triggered. I thought Biden and the media told us this was the strongest economy ever and that inflation was just transitory? Surely the party wouldn’t lie to us.

They're making the same mistake as Bud Light. There are TONS of competitors that people can move to that aren't woke. Lots of other beers, lots of other gyms.

That and because they have shifted their marketing from average joe's to fat lazy people. Who knew fat lazy people didn't want to pay for or go to a gym?

Craziness, I tell ya.
