Fridge: 2hrs tops

Freezer: 24hrs

That’s assuming you don’t open them until the power come back.

You are way low on both.

It honestly depends on the temperature when the power comes back on. If products are above 40 degrees for 4-5 hours, I’d toss the milk and fresh cut meats, other items like vegetables and processed meats will be fine longer. Guessing this is around 10-12 hours

I’d probably toss all perishables after 24 hours no matter what

Freezer: depends on how packed it is. If it’s full of stuff, I’d go 36 hours if I didn’t open it. I’d also look at the ice and see how melted it is to understand.

Most stuff in my freezer wills still be frozen at the 24 Hippe mark.

Fridge would depend on the item.

Man you can leave milk on the counter for two hours and still be ok.

After 8 in the fridge you need to start thinking about what's next.

Your freezer isn't going to completely thaw out in 24 hours. You have a good two days of solid frozen food/meat. Even if it defrosts it's still be cold enough.

Lol.

Anything perishable in the fridge should last 24 hours.

The stuff in the freezer should be good for 48-72 hours.
