+ Whatever picks needed to get it done.

If they want Herb I still might do it.

The Bulls are a mess and looking at a total rebuild this summer. I would target White and Vucevic from them. They combine for about 30M and are locked in for the next two seasons. It would take a pretty big haul to get the Bulls to move White, not so much for Vucevic. A trade of Ingram for White/Vucevic works straight up. But I don't think the Bulls want Ingram. We could find another team to take Ingram, like Philly for picks, then send all of the picks (plus a couple from us) to the Bulls.

So, if we trade Ingram to the Sixers for Reed and 3 1sts (24, 26, 28).

Then we trade those picks, plus our pick in 25 and 27 (we keep Lakers for next year). That is 5 1sts plus Nance/Hawkins or Daniels for White/Vucevic. I believe the Bulls would take that.

3 team trade:
76ers - BI
Pels - Bridges, Reed
Nets - 4 firsts from 6ers

2 team:
Magic CJ McCollum (rather than giving klay a 3-4 year deal at a similar price) and a pick
Pels - Jonathon Isaac

Saw an article suggesting

Orlando gets: BI

Pels get: Issac, Suggs, Mo Wagner, 2025 or 2026 ORl first round pick

Not sure Orlando would do that but I like that for us. Suggs gets us a two way PG while Wagner and Issac provide defense and athleticism

The more I look at trade targets, the more I think the way the draft lottery shakes out will have a huge impact on our options.

For example, Sarr might be the best player in the draft, but there’s a good chance that teams like the Spurs, DET, and potentially even POR and CHA don’t want to take a 5 like Sarr. I can’t see any of those teams trading the 1 overall (for many reasons, but especially just the optics of it), but if the lottery ends up something like

1. POR
2. SA
3. DET

I could see world where Sarr falls to 3 and DET being much more open to moving that pick.

Would we be interested in moving BI for something like Stewart, Grimes, Sarr, 2029 future first, and close to 17 million in cap relief?

FWIW, I don’t think they would do it since we need to win now

Gotta love Homer fans who overvalue their own players and think highway robbery is a fair trade. Also Herb is not untouchable

Since Cleve is dropping them drawers

If I need to give up Lakers pick to keep Herb then I do that too.

Both teams get what they want.

Watching these 4 Western Conference teams currently playing, one thing is for certain...

If we get Garland or Murray, we're still miles away from being on the level of these teams.

We'd need to then use CJ, all the picks and 1 of or some combo of Herb/Dyson/Hawkins to get yet another guy to be a true contender.

It's part of the reason why I don't think Garland is actually a good fit. Way too pricy to add a $40mil dude who at best would need to be our #3 option on the best version of what this team can be. He's not a #2.

CJ gets traded for Naz Reid. Not sure the specifics of the entire deal.

And BI gets traded and we land Murray out of that deal and a couple picks. Nance probably gets added to the deal as well.
