Swap moody for kuminga. Add podziemskj

Moody is legitimately nothing more than a bench player.

Not selling a dollar for 50 cents. Thats just asinine and stupid. You want a legit #2, you ain't gonna get him for nothing.

Probably bandwagon fans who used to cheer for the Lakers TBH.

It would be like the Bulls trying to trade the corpse of Lonzo for Trey and some very distant firsts.

Klutch didn’t even wait for the game to be over before they were dropping Garland trade bombs.

As RealGM put it, if Cleveland sees Mitchell as the future, Garland’s arse is getting shipped somewhere regardless of his demands.

Feels like you can get JA for free if he’s upsetting the org.

Atlanta is apparently monitoring Mitchell to see if he doesn’t sign an extension and they would then change course and try to pair Mitchell and Trae together.

Who would say no first?

Cavs: Ingram, Okongwu, Daniels

Hawks: Mitchell, Nance

Pels: Murray, Hunter, Allen #1 pick

Cavs stay very competitive, get a guy that should be able to play the 4 with Mobley at the 5, a big wing in DD

Pels get Murray after missing on Trae, but get to keep Herb, get a longtime target in Allen, and the #1 pick. In return for that we have to take a bad contract in Hunter, but with a lesser role on a team already loaded at the wing we could possibly keep him healthy with less minutes and rehab his value.

Hawks get Mitchell

We would obviously have to add a couple picks to this, but not sure how many

I think we can call this "Pels get Murry (and celebrate that we didn't get Trae)"

This would be such a disaster I'd probably watch some Hawks games

Trae is a far better player than Murray, and would fit this team better than Murray

Any particular reason DD is included?

Hawks says no. That's a massive overpay for Mitchell. They loose ALOT of good players and the number 1 pick.

Basically for them they loose OO, Hunter, Murray, and the number 1 pick for Mitchell and Nance LMAO.

Salary matching along with having to give up good players to make this deal.

No way we can only give up Ingram and Nance and get back Allen, Murray and the #1 pick

It’s definitely not a massive overpay for Mitchell, they give up no future assets and and only lose Murray, who Mitchell takes his spot anyway, and Okongwu. Hunter is a salary throw in that’s considered a negative contract right now due to his extensive injuries

So basically Atlanta’s end is sending out Murray, Okongwu and a bad contract along with one pick for Mitchell. That’s practically a steal.

If anyone says no I think it would be the Cavs

That trade just doesn’t balance for me but I can’t put my finger on what needs to change. On the surface it feels like the Pels get too much value, but that’s from quantity, not quality.

I can see a deal going down between these 3 teams though. They are all in similar positions of having something the other wants, but that something is depressed in value, and external pressures are forcing them all to sell now.

Part of it is the psychology of the #1 pick. It feels more valuable than it is this year.

However, I do sorta agree. That trade is just off.

I’d rather the 1 go to someone else that wants it, we get a different pick, keep Dyson, and the team that got 1 gives the hawks or whomever a young player they want.

Yeah, the more I look at it the more it seems something else needs to be added, but at the same time I look at this draft and see the #1 pick as the #6 pick in a normal draft.

Maybe Wizards sending Kispert to Cavs and swapping #2 for #1, then #2 going to Pels?

Or maybe swapping Dyson for Herb?

Hard to pin down

Genuinely believe Cavs have distressed assets now and the Pelicans should be going all hands on deck while the pain is still new.

Is the tier separation at the top high enough for the Wiz to move up a spot to ensure they get their guy?

If they see 2-3 guys as about co-equal, there isn’t a big point to moving up a spot and giving up Kispert, who they see as an asset.
