The NFL’s mantra for decades was to make their product as widely available as possible for free. They were even iffy on their ESPN deal up until a couple of years ago. That’s one reason for the growth of the league.

They made ESPN way overpay for a crappy Monday night game and a couple of Wild Card games for years.

Now they are creating random mid-week late December games so they can sell them to streaming services.

How many people watch OTA channels in this country?

How many people use Netflix in this country?

I’m not sure why so many people are upset by this. If you don’t have Netflix, oh well you miss one-two games, life goes on. If you do have Netflix, wtf are you complaining about?
