No, he's just a few years older than I am he's not a boomer. And I disagree he has power lots of it as speaker he's just not using it the way we would like him to because he's being bribed and/or blackmailed. If it were just some generational mindset then his positions on things wouldn't have done a 180 in just a few week after becoming speaker. It's not just him all of our elected officials are controlled by the men who control the money.

Who spent his formative years in the height of the Cold War and then his early political years in the post-9/11 era under the boomers. Those same boomers still hold most of the powerful positions in our government.

Saying things to be elected Speaker and having the political power to actually do said things after becoming Speaker are very, wry different things. Especially with a practically nonexistent majority.
