I don't care if people who I don't even know exist get abortions. Looking at the actual abortion statistics I hope the people who have been getting them keep getting them because the vast majority of abortions are by people who are already on every welfare/entitlement program we have. We don't need 'more' people being put on these programs we need fewer.

Abortion is a moral issue not a political one. I don't care if people I don't even know get abortions. It impacts me not one single iota. 'Banning' abortion would be devastating for this country we would be one gigantic Welfare State.

Well Trump would beat him on this issue.

Do you really believe that a baby is killed at 8.5 months?

You understand that this thread is about RFK's support for allowing that, and not about whether or not that happens currently, right?

(No, you obviously don't)

What’s the procedure for a later-term abortion?
Most people ending a pregnancy in the second or third trimester undergo a surgical abortion. This procedure is called dilation and evacuation (D&E).

D&E can usually be done on an outpatient basis in a clinic or hospital.

The first step is to soften and dilate the cervix. This can be initiated the day before the D&E. You’ll be positioned on the table with your feet in the stirrups, much as you would for a pelvic exam.

Your clinician will use a speculum to widen your vaginal opening. This allows them to clean your cervix and apply a local anesthetic.

Afterward, your clinician will insert a dilating stick called a laminaria stick into your cervical canal. This stick absorbs moisture and opens the cervix, as it swells. Alternatively, your clinician can use another type of dilating stick called Dilapan, which can be inserted on the same day as the surgery.

Your clinician may also choose to give you a drug called misoprostol (Cytotec), which can help prepare the cervix.

Just prior to the D&E, you’ll likely be given intravenous sedation or general anesthesia, so you’ll probably sleep through the procedure. You’ll also be given your first dose of antibiotic therapy to help prevent infection.

Your clinician will then remove the dilating stick and scrape the uterus with a sharp-tip instrument called a curette. Vacuum suction and other surgical instruments will be used to extract the fetus and placenta. Ultrasound guidance may be used during the procedure.

It takes about half an hour to complete the procedure.

Go the frick away.

DeSantis principled conservatives on twitter are all defending RFKs late term abortion stance. these clowns really don't have any principles or any true convictions.

their whole political motivation is hatred of Donald Trump. nothing else. they were on the DeSantis wagon because they don't like Trump. like parasites they have moved on to a new host to satiate their TDS. bunch of impotent cucks.

they always call people cultist to project what they truly are. a deranged Trump hating cult that is willing to put a guy who got his brain eaten by a worm in the white house.

How embarrassing.

He's going to score a lot of Biden voters with that monstrous opinion.

I like how killing babies is less offensive to progs than killing a dangerous dog. Nasty people.

No one supports killing babies at 8.5 months of a pregnancy. No one. They might support terminating a pregnancy at 8.5 months, but not killing a baby at 8.5 months.

There are states where killing an unborn baby is legal until the moment of birth with no restrictions.

There are many others that require a medical reason for very late term abortions. Reasons can include the mental health of the mother as determined solely by her doctor.

These late term killings definitely happen. Probably not a huge number of them, but yes, it’s proven so I believe.

The question is why you don’t believe?
