Yes, please don’t forget this. Even if they’re loved ones and you’re horrified at what they said and you still love them, never forget what people did and said during Covid. They showed you who they really are.

And I hate to say it, but members of my own family I now know that they would have ratted out their neighbors to the Gestapo had they suspected that they were harboring Jews. Now they would protect me, but if one of their neighbors was doing the same thing, I don’t think so.

These past five years, you should have a good understanding where you would have been had you been unfortunate enough to live in Nazi Germany. Everyone revealed themselves plainly. To paraphrase the Joker:
