Hawaii was No. 1 in health care. Massachusetts was No. 2. Hawaii, really?
FL was 45 In opportunity. TX was 48. Vermont was No. 1 because we all know about all those opportunities in Vermont.

I probably would be the #1 alcohol consumer in that state. Wonder if they have any maple based whiskey.

Plenty of opportunity for folks in Louisiana, especially for those that don't work.
Louisiana and Mississippi suffer from the same problem. Half the population don't work and the half that do, 2/3rds work for the government.
It's like California bitching about the homeless when you make laws that attract the homeless. Louisiana expands the Medicaid rolls and makes it easy to mooch off the government and do nothing. Louisiana has a $35 billion budget, nearly the same as Pennsylvania that has 3 times the population as Louisiana.
That's why this state is last. Make it harder on those that don't produce to stay and easier for those that do.
