I’ll never forget that Arkansas performance. He was a one man wrecking crew.

I mean he is “generational” and needs big year for him. Don’t want to take two steps back.

Jabril Peppers was a first round pick without being a prototypical S or LB. Perkins is of the same mold…physical freak, playmaker, game changer. He’ll find his spot.

It’s the fact he can run sideline to sideline and can disrupt in the pass rush ! Even though he doesn’t have a position! You can put him in anywheres and you have to account for him !

Mr. Swampy, what you have just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone on this board is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Only thing I could think when I read OP’s post.

He’s been an All-Conference performer since the moment he stepped on campus, he also happens to have freak measurables. That being said it’s not that surprising…

Perkins is a great player and will be a first rounder. But to say he’s a generational talent is an exaggeration. As for jabrill peppers, he’s not at all a good comparison for Perkins. He was picked in the first round but he hasn’t lived up to that. He’s a safety who can’t cover in the deep third of the field or in the slot.

Do you people not understand the nfl drafts off of measurables and more importantly potential? Production in college is a very small factor when it comes to the NFL draft.

More than production, he plays a position that isn't seen as being worth a 1st round draft pick anymore, similar to RB.

I’ll be shocked if he’s not top 10.

Harold's production isn't an issue but his size will be a legit concern for the NFL. If he's in the barely 230 range not every team will think he fits their scheme.

What? He runs like a safety and he’s 220 pounds! Size is no issue AT ALL.

He’s the same size as Debo Jones, BTW.

An off ball LB going top 10 would be pretty nutty.

Bijan Robinson was the best RB prospect since Adrian Peterson and he was over-drafted in the top 10. Perkins would have to be that level of prospect, and he has not shown that sort of play on the field.

It's not a criticism of Perkins. He just plays a position that is not valuable in the NFL currently

I can’t imagine creating a thread like this. Some of you are glutton for punishment. Basically admitting you don’t know shite about football on the most widely used LSU football site.
