PJ Washington biggest acquisition at the trade deadline. He is one of the best defenders in the NBA, and can knock down 3’s like nobodies business. This game has been incredible.

Kyrie, Jones, Lively 6/27 for 18 points between them in 87 minutes. Geez. Unbelievable that Dallas is ahead with that. Thank goodness Hardaway and Green having a good night. PJ and Luka doing what they are supposed to do.

Not sure how that is and and-1 when the foul occurred while the ball was on the rim and then Chet goes up and tips it in after. Didn't even have possession, how can you be in the process of shooting?

First game in probably 4 years that THJ has had a positive box score +/-.

Big win from Dallas, with Kyrie shooting 25% and scoring less than 10. Lively bad. Jones bad. If Hardaway Jr, Washington, and Green stay hot Dallas will be tough at home.

Advantage now shifts to Dallas in a best of 5. Huge for Dallas to respond after OKC took a lead in the 3rd. We’re going to need more of Hardaway knocking down shots, and PJ hitting 3’s. Great game on the road against a great Thunder squad. I still think we’re going to need Exum at some point this series.

Give me a break, this Thunder squad flops all over the place. Man y’all are pissed about Luka and Dallas in here.

We got a series now. Washington and Hardaway scored 46 and OKc lost by 9, so will be interesting if they can keep that up.

As for FTs we can put that to bed.

Here's all the relevant numbers.

Free Throws Attempted Per Game: Regular Season
OKC: #17 (21.5)
Mavs: #11 (22.5)

Free Throws Attempted Per Game: Playoffs
OKC: #10 (19.6)
Mavs: #2 (26.0)

Free Throw Attempt Rate: Regular Season
OKC: #17
Mavs: #13

Free Throw Attempt Rate: Playoffs
OKC: #10
Mavs: #2

Post Ups Per Game: Regular Season
OKC: #28 (1.6)
Mavs: #24 (2.0)

Post Ups Per Game: Playoffs
OKC: #14 (1.2)
Mavs: #16 (1.1)

Drives Per Game: Regular Season
OKC: #1 (62.1)
Mavs: #23 (44.8)

Drives Per Game: Playoffs
OKC: #4 (51.4)
Mavs: #7 (46.4)

They got the OKC challenge wrong. And got the Dallas challenge wrong.

OKC needs to keep Giddy on the bench he is not a good matchup with Dallas. He’s the one I can see traded or moved to bench this summer. Has talent but way too young and needs more time. Was -20 for the game. And was -7 in their win.

If OKC can get one of the games in Dallas its back to home court. They started game bad and had to fight back all game and just never could get the right players on court consistently. Hayward is another who should never see the court.

Young OKC team finally has some pressure on them. It's easy to roll a less talented team when there's no pressure and you can play loose. Going to Dallas and trying not to fall behind, we'll see how they handle it.

I doubt Kyrie has another game where he shoots as poorly as he did last night. Lively and Jones gotta get their stuff together, especially since their shots are all right at the rim or Jones on a wide open 3. If Hardaway and Green score nearly 30 off the bench, its gonna be tough for OKC or anybody else to keep up. That's what Dallas always needs and when they finally get that production, they roll...see Kleber off bench in LAC series before he got hurt. In the 2nd-4th quarters, Luka and Kyrie only combined for about 20 and they still managed to pull off a road win.

Looking back through this thread there were some horrific takes on that Mavs game. I mean damn. Luka can barely walk, Kyrie took the night off, and Dallas still won. And yet some of y’all still hollerin’ Thunder. With the injuries Dallas has right now this would actually be an embarrasing series to lose for the Thunder.
