I just bought a black Epic E40L and love it. Top speed is 25 MPH. I don't max it out the whole time when going to downtown BSL but it's about 10 miles round trip from our camp and usually takes up 40-50% battery life. The soundbar that comes with it is awesome too. For the most part ours will only get used on weekends so I was told by a friend to avoid gas.

I've got that same rig, but mine is branded Icon. They must be made by the same people.. I love mine.

That is way nicer than I was looking for
I need no bells or whistles. 4 seats and reliability.

Was bouncing back and forth last month between the same model you got and a 2020 Yamaha.
I went with the Yamaha because both dealers that I talked to said getting parts for the EPIC was a nightmare. They are so backed up that the minimum timeframe to get some of the most basic parts is a month minimum. Now, that may just be in my area but I didnt like the way that sounded.
Went with gas because I can replace the entire engine for less that what replacing those batteries is going to run. AND changing batteries isnt a matter of IF, its a matter of WHEN.
And 10 miles sucking 40-50% battery life doesnt sound great in comparison. I bought my Yamaha at the beginning of March and filled it up with gas. We ride it around the neighborhood for 30ish minutes at least 4 times a week with the kiddos and I still have 2-3s of a tank...
Paid $7500. Street legal with turn signals, horn, seat belts, and mirrors. They threw in a sound bar and rear cupholders/ armrests as well. Topped out at 28mph…. So far
Day I brought it home...There have been upgrades since
