Not the point. Someone writing about a disdain for fox news has nothing to do with their feelings on any critical theory, social injustice, or identity politics. The left derided fox news long before any of that stuff was in the zeitgeist.

When he brought up the basketball issue, he was skirting into woke territory. Wokeness and leftism are joined at the hip at this point. Whether you say he's woke or say he leans left, neither is particularly good.
