Abbott has showed a tremendous amount of balls and leadership in defiance of our government’s self induced invasion and was able to rally other states to come to his aid in a time of need.

He seems like a good leader to me. But who knows, he could be a piece of of shite too.

I’m pretty convinced that all people in politics, by default, are pieces of shite.

I live in Tx. This guy acts conservative every time there's an election cycle. After election, he reverts back to doing nothing. Typical Rhino.

Hmmmm

And yes of those three its Abbott. I like Burgum but he would add zero to the ticket besides some money.

Only upside to Abbott as VP is we might get a better governor here in Texas.
The dude does just enough to keep getting elected, consistently the lesser of two evils. The professional shitbags in DC would steamroll his arse.
I'm convinced his actions at the border have more to do with Paxton's influence than his testicular fortitude.

I don’t like Abbott but I wouldn’t call him a RINO. If anything Dade Phelan (that’s a RINO) stops him from governing more conservatively. We have a pretty weak governorship.

I will say that he’s unnecessarily antagonistic towards education and is petty.

Every time some news of a teacher sleeping with a student happens he rushes to talk about getting kids out of public schools and getting vouchers.

The proposed voucher program had some serious flaws and he decided to go after very conservative members who pointed out those flaws and voted against. He’s also holding budgets tight till he gets what he wants. I’m all for the vouchers, but I again use the phrase, “unnecessarily antagonistic.”

I’ve voted for him both times and would again in a heartbeat, but I’ll be glad to be rid of him. I do appreciate that he has fought against dumb woke shite and Feds on the border.
