Dead like me (2003-04)

The main character noted that her mother , Joy, hated the word *moist*. The character would intentionally slip it in conversation, knowing this, just to annoy her.

Why my mind remembers some random scene from a little known TV show baffles me, but I still find it funny.

Yeah, "winter storm Earl" or "winter storm Alice". Soon we'll have "upper level low Norm" or "Bermuda high Bambi" or "Santa ana Paco".

Hurricanes got named first, should keep 'em unique.

Extreme wind warning. Had this for Hurricanes Irma and Ian near the eyewall. It was no joke and for Ian, it lasted for hours

I live in Nashville and there’s a news station where the weather people put out a “Code Red” alert for seemingly any weather that’s not dang near perfect, seriously, and they will even put it out on say a Monday and then say “well it’s not for today but for what we are anticipating Tuesday and Wednesday “ sorry for the long answer but it’s Code Red, it’s pretty funny really
