So this is what went down? Cops arrive at Fortson's apartment at 4:30pm on a Friday. They only knock twice? They don't announce who they are? They don't hear any disturbance? Then they break down the door?
Seems like a lot of info is being left out or not substantiated.

Hopefully the cops were wearing body cams.

Sad story, really messed up move by the deputy.

However, dude was assigned to a STS he wasn’t a STS airman. He didn’t have to survive the pipeline. Contrary to what BS the higher ups push, how close you are to the X matters.

Their job is the 22 most dangerous job in the country....behind roofers for example. That is just too much to ask...its the 22 most dangerous job in the country....give 'em a break....so they shoot someone who has done nothing wrong once in a while. So I got massively downvoted on page one by all the "police kicked in the wrong door for no reason and murdered this guy" people. Turns out this was a Karen initiated situation in which they were called to a specific apartment. Knocked on the door and loudly announced their presence. Guy acknowledges its the police as heard verbally on the body cam. He then answers the door holding a gun and the officer shoots him WITHOUT entering the apartment (zero 4th Amendment issue there).

Someone is going to raise some kind of argument that its a 4th violation because of the Use of Force but we all know that isn't what they meant on page one.

You want to argue whether the officer was quick on the trigger or not? Go ahead. It's a valid argument. I think going the racial route is going to be Crump's angle though (duh) and that's a weak play.
