One shooting does not a Shreveport make.

Also, it's just a general question. Can St. George defend itself? Pineville? West Monroe?

I mean I guess as long as you've got a river/bayou between you and the city you could have Sheriff's departments controlling access but if you don't have that advantage, what's the plan? Stay or go?

Bossier is not Shreveport, but there are pockets that are getting progressively worse.

Would I stay where I'm at? Yes.

Would I rely on a sheriff's department to control access? No.

Yeah I wouldn't be planning for them to save me. But it would be a pretty obvious decision if shite got bad enough. I'm just wondering if this is something they've considered or not? My family is heavy in special forces community so I know of situations where the local sheriff has told some of them that if this goes down, they're going to deputize people with their skills into a posse to help out. So I know these conversations are happening.

Power is out, banking is dead. People in the Sheriffs department won't be getting paid and they have families too.

Their loyalty won't be to you unless you are personal friends and family.

It doesnt matter how your community is now, you could live in a sanctuary. It will not matter as food grows scarce, information is unable to be relayed, and people panic. The most God fearing, law abiding person will cut your throat for a pop tart in day 3 or so of his family being hungry and scared. My plan is whiskey and bullets and vinyl playing off my generator until the bullets, whiskey or music run out.
